Lucy would welcome the opportunity to speak to you so you can discuss your concerns and possible ways forward.

Assessment - £425

Lucy can provide full, diagnostic assessments for both adults and children.

The assessment and subsequent report meet the current standards for diagnostic reports laid out by The SpLD Assessment Standards Committee (SASC). The reports can be used when applying for the Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) at university.

The assessment process takes about 2 and a half hours and can be conducted either at the individual’s home or school setting. Prior to the assessment itself, Lucy will gather background information from the parents / carers, individual (if old enough) and the individual’s current school setting.

The assessment gives a detailed and comprehensive understanding of the individual’s:

·       cognitive strengths and areas of difficulty,

·       attainment, including reading and writing ability

Following on from the assessment, a full and detailed report is written within 4 weeks of the assessment taking place. The report draws together the background information and assessments conducted and provides manageable and personal recommendations for both school and the home setting. Lucy will report initial findings and thoughts within 24 hours of the assessment taking place.

Lucy invites the parent/carer and individual to a face to face feedback session where the report is talked through and explained. Lucy is also happy to discuss the report in the individual’s school setting if required. Virtual meetings can also be arranged.

Tuition –from £40 an hour

Lucy has particular experience working with neurodivergent secondary school and university aged individuals.
